Janine is the secretary of Ghostbuster Central. From the beginning, Janine worked the front desk, answering the phone and directing procedures. Not much is known about this mysterious woman. She's from Brooklyn. That's all I know, she's from Brooklyn.

::Janine: Not much for research, are you?::
::Tory: Janine, don't you start!::

With a tough brooklyn accent, this woman takes no gruff from anyone. She's quick to respond and even quicker to cut someone down who is out of line. I'm sure Peter's felt the razor edge of her tongue once in a while.

::Peter: [wriggles his eyebrows]::
::Tory: I gotta find a new line of work.::

We all know how crazy Janine was about Egon. I bet though, Egon was just as crazy in return.

::Egon: [turns red]::

There's is a little controversy surrounding her, this I'll go in depth in Egon's Theories.

::Janine: Do tell!::

Whether you know it or not, Janine is just as much as part of the family as the others. She was there in the beginning and did as much as she could for them. As the series wore on, Janine's demeanor was sorely trashed and made to that of a carpet.

::Janine: Really!!::

I couldn't stand the character change and was ready to dump everything all together! She became whiny, clingy, sorely dependant on the others . Janine was turned from the strong woman she was into a piece of fluff, only concerned with how "cute" Egon was.

::Tory: Oh gah, that gave me a cavity.::
::Egon: I'm not cute?!::
::Tory: Shaddup, Egon!::
