::Tory: I'm gonna dread this!::

::Tory: I can't say, there are children who might be reading this page.::

Peter Venkman is the self-described kid from Brooklyn. He's also the only son of a small family. His father rarely stayed home. He often was out trying some new kind of scam. Peter was very close to his mother because at times it was just them together. Even though Peter deeply loves his father, he resents him because when he was at school and his father was on the road, Peter's mother died alone. During his first year he met someone he described as a 'terminal geek.' This 'geek' was Egon Spengler, a sophomore from Ohio.

::Egon: He called me a 'terminal geek?!'::
::Tory: [shrugs] That's what he told me.::
::Peter: Egon, she's LYING!::

At first, Peter tried to push him away, thinking him to be like the other geeks. As time past, Egon interested and fascinated him.

::Peter: Not the way anyone would think..::
::Tory: Get your mind out the gutter, Peter!::
::Ray: That'll be hard, considering it's always there...::

Not one to trust anyone, there are only four people he can trust and sometimes he's doubtful about that. Peter's trust in his father was so damaged that he rarely can trust anyone else. It takes the others to often remind him that they're not like his father and wouldn't betray him.

Peter's biggest fear is dying the same way his mother did. He can't bear being by himself whenever he's sick or injured. You can say all you want about Peter, but there are some words that can describe him. I know the words: annoying, obnoxious, silly, crazy, all come to mind when describing Peter. What some don't know is that he's caring, sensitive, and very protective about his friends.

::Peter: [sniffs]::

Peter would gladly throw his life down for his friends. Whenever they need a 'bait' to catch a ghost, Peter always makes sure that it's him that the ghost chases and not someone else. Of the group, Peter is the public relations person. He's more verbally inclined than his partners and usually is the one responsible for billing and contracts.

::Peter: Well, we do have to eat.::
::Egon: Odd, considering you do most of the eating.::
::Tory: That's IT! I'm through, no more profiles!::
::Ghostbusters: Awwww!::
::Tory: Fine, Janine's profile and that's it!::
