Winston Zeddemore is the only member of the team that wasn't there when it was founded. Winston was first hired as a handyman. The job of busting ghosts and keeping up with the ecto-containment unit was proving stressful to just the three men. Of course we all know Peter wasn't doing anything.

::Peter: HEY!::

Winston, an ex-soldier from Vietnam, quickly taught the three college softies

::Egon: Excuse me?!::
::Tory: [Sighs] CAN I FINISH!?::

the tools and techiniques of combat. He helped them to acqure the ability to not get killed. Winston quickly became a member of the Ghostbuster staff and the family circle was complete. It was almost as if there was a Winston-sized hole, waiting for him to fill it.

Winston possess a sharp intellect. He can hone in on the finest details that the others could possibly miss. The guys are extremely jealous that he can always solve a mystery before they can. (they tie and gag him during Mystery nights on TV) I think it really peeves Egon.

::Egon: DOES NOT!::
::Tory: What did I say!?::

Winston is the solid foundation of the group. He has a firm belief in God and is always the first to make sure everyone else is alright. He's never to be the one in the spotlight, since Peter's always hogging it,

::Tory: Say one thing and I start whacking!::
::Peter: EEP!::

He quietly stands in the background giving 110% support to his best friends. Out of the four, Winston is in fact the most NORMAL and has the most common sense. He has a normal family complete with mom, dad, siblings. He often goes on weekends to visit like a good son should. Even though Egon is the realist, he is a scientist first. Whenever paired together, Winston has to make sure that Egon doesn't lose his head, or any other part of his body for that matter.

::Egon: *gulps*::

Even though he may seem to be super serious, Winston is prone to silliness when hanging around wtih Ray. Somehow Ray's happy and cheerful personality tends to rub off on Winston. They often can tell, when Winston starts saying semi-silly things.

::Ray: Oh, so now I'm silly?::
::Tory: That's it, I'm finished! I still have to write Peter's Bio!::
::Peter: This should be fun!::
